A day off

It’s funny how long it can take me to actually get started on my homework. Between reading live blogs and watching Obama’s town hall, not to MENTION finally logging onto twitter, it’s officially afternoon and I haven’t done a thing.

I’m hungry.

Maybe homework is meant for the night time.

Genius!

I would totally be studying for the aforementioned Algebra test, but I can’t stop playing with itunes.  This whole Genius playlist thing is wicked awesome.  I keep clicking on songs to see if Genius will make an appropriate playlist, and it does.  Every time.

Right now I’m listening to music inspired by CocoRosie‘s song Werewolf.  Makes for a lovely mellow morning.

Somebody make me be productive.  Or at least step away from the Genius.

It’s just so very comfortable

There are some periods in my life where getting up on time is (for some reason) impossible.  No matter how much the cat needs on my stomach in an attempt to rouse me, or how many times E’s cell phone alarm starts blaring “Rehab” by Amy Winehouse, I will lay there in my cocoon and rationalize my time spent hitting snooze.

And then, apparently, instead of running to campus, I’ll sit here and write about it for absolutely no reason.
